Moored Houseboat and Villa Reservation - Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy

The number of people accommodated on the houseboat or in the villas must not exceed the number of beds provided.

Some groups may be refused from booking the houseboat/villa or incur a higher bond which will be determined by Boats and Bedzzz/Renmark River Villas. Boats and Bedzzz/Renmark River Villas also reserves the right to refuse entry of people to the houseboat or villa as well as remove people from a houseboat or villa at their discretion.

For short term bookings, a deposit of 20% must be received at time of booking to confirm your reservation. EFT, VISA and Mastercard are accepted. Your reservation will be cancelled if deposit is not received.

Any balance owing on the day of arrival, we will automatically process to your credit card provided upon booking (unless other payment arrangements have been made by the guest). Bank transfers are to be paid a minimum of 7 days prior to arrival. Cheques are not accepted upon arrival.

Together with the final payment, a minimum $450 refundable bond is payable and is processed as a pre-authorisation (hold) on your credit card on the day of arrival. If there are no damages, issues or excessive cleaning required, this hold will automatically be release by your bank after 7-10 working days from processing.

Check in after 2pm. Check out at 10am.

All accommodation is non-smoking.

No pets.

PLEASE NOTE: Bookings for three weeks or more are classified as long term bookings. Deposits and bond required for long term bookings may be different to our standard requirements and are negotiated with the customer at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

Your deposit paid, less an administration fee of $30, will only be refunded if you notify us of your full cancellation more than 30 days before your scheduled arrival. If you provide notification 30 days or less prior to arrival, your deposit will be forfeited. Cancellation of part of your booking with 30 days or less notification will incur a $130/night late cancellation fee.

Failure to notify of cancellations - If you do not notify us of your cancellation, or if you do not arrive by 10am on the day after your scheduled arrival date, you will be charged for the full value of the booking and no refund will be given.

Moving Waters Hire and Drive - Reservation Conditions

DEPOSIT

Upon making a booking, a deposit of $500 is required to secure your booking. Payment can be made by EFT, VISA card, Mastercard

FINAL PAYMENT

Final payment is required 6 weeks prior to departure. Payment can be made by EFT, EFTPOS, Money Order, Cheque, Cash. If you wish to pay by VISA card or Mastercard a 1.5% credit card fee on your final payment will be charged.

BOND

A bond of $1500.00 is payable on arrival or can be paid a minimum 7 days prior to arrival by EFT, cash, bank transfer, credit card (1.5% credit card fee applies) – cheques not accepted for bond. This bond is in addition to the hire charge and is to cover any minor damages, loss, late return of houseboat ($70 per every hour you are late), private phone calls on satellite phone or excessive cleaning of the houseboat and its equipment. If major damages are caused to the houseboat, the insurance excess is $2000 and therefore you will have to pay an extra $500 bond plus fuel charges BEFORE you depart the houseboat.
After refueling and cleaning, the balance remaining from your bond, will be refunded by EFT within 14 days.

OTHER CONDITIONS

Single sex groups may be refused hire of houseboat or incur a higher bond which will be determined by Boats and Bedzzz.
The number of person hiring a houseboat must not exceed the number of surveyed berths (10).
Any person driving a houseboat must be over the age of 18 years and hold either a current drivers licence or boat licence. On arrival, you will be instructed (for approximately one hour) on the operation and navigation of your houseboat and taken on a short cruise to make sure you are comfortable handling the boat.
Houseboats must not be driven before sunrise and after sunset and all marine and harbours regulations must be abided by.
Boats and Bedzzz reserve the right to refuse permission to board or remove crew from a boat at their discretion.
Strictly no animals, candles, firearms, chainsaws, axes, motorbikes allowed.
No smoking is allowed inside the houseboat.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations 45 days or more prior to departure will forfeit all monies paid unless the houseboat can be re-booked for the same time and same value. In this case, all monies will be refunded, less a $150 cancellation fee. Cancellation of part of a booking 45 days or more prior to departure will incur a charge of 50% of the value of the part booking cancelled.
Cancellations notified less than 45 days prior to departure will forfeit all monies paid unless the houseboat can be re-booked for the same time and same value. In this case, all monies paid will be refunded less a $250 cancellation fee. Cancellation of part of a booking with less than 45 days prior to departure will incur a charge of 50% of the value of the part booking cancelled.

Pontoon Boat River Cruises- Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy

Renmark River Cruises reserves the right to cancel or alter cruises at any time.

If the tour is cancelled by us for any reason (eg weather), we will reschedule your tour or refund the full amount of monies paid.

THE CRUISE HAS A 4 PERSON MINIMUM (PAYING CUSTOMERS) FOR THE TOUR TO GO AHEAD. AS INFANTS YOUNGER THAN 12 MONTHS OLD ARE AT NO COST, THEY DO NOT COUNT AS PART OF THE MINIMUM NUMBERS.
We will take full payment upon booking, no matter the number of people booked for the tour. If minimum numbers are not met, we will make contact with you to see if you are flexible to change your tour date/time to join another cruise that is definitely running. If not possible, we will arrange a refund of your full payment.

Please make sure you have included all passengers as part of your booking, including children (aged 12 months to 15 years at time of tour) and infants (aged 11 months and younger at time of tour). Infants aged 11 months and younger may be required to sit on a parents lap if the pontoon boat is at full capacity.
Infants 12 months and older form part of the people capacity limit requirements as set by AMSA, so it is important you provide accurate ages upon booking.
We have the right to cancel a booking for incorrect age selections when making your booking (eg age of infants, children and concessions)

No pets allowed.

Renmark River Cruises has public liability insurance but indemnifies itself against any damage, loss or injury arising out of any action or lack of action by any external party.

No smoking or vaping onboard the pontoon boat. Intoxicated and unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and we can refuse entry of these people onto the pontoon boat.

Renmark River Cruises endeavours to maintain a strict schedule for departure. Please arrive 15 minutes early for your cruise to allow time to check in and access public toilets nearby, as there is no toilet on board the pontoon boat. If you are more than 5 minutes late on the day of your cruise and you miss the boat, you will not be entitled to a refund.

If you do not show up on the day of your cruise, you will not be entitled to a refund.

If you wish to cancel the tour more than 30 days prior to the tour date, you will receive a full refund of monies paid.

If you wish to cancel the tour more than 14 days prior to the tour date, you will receive a 50% refund of monies paid.

There will be no refund within 14 days of the tour date.

The same terms above apply for cancelling part of your booking (eg cancelling only some of the seats of your total seats booked).

Please note that credit card fees are non-refundable when a cancellation occurs.

Travel insurance is recommended.
